Puerto Princesa World Heritage
The inscription of the PUERTO PRINCESA SUBTERRANEAN RIVER NATIONAL PARK to this prestigious list confirms the outstanding universal value of the Underground River, the most unique natural phenomenon of its kind to exist. To conserve it in its natural state, a carrying capacity of Nine Hundred (900) Visitors a Day is observed. This is to ensure that the bats, swiftlets and other significant forms of life are not disturbed and will cause the abandonment of their natural habitat. Tours are scheduled from 8:00 in the morning to 4:00 in the afternoon so as not to interfere during their departure and return to the cave.
To regulate access within the specified limit, a NO PERMIT, NO ENTRY POLICY is strictly enforced. We sincerely regret and apologize for any inconvenience as we appeal to you to please bear with us.

Bookings and other information for the Tour can be made at the Underground River Booking Office located just ten minutes from the Puerto Princesa International Airport. Visitors are also required to present valid identification and register individually prior to the tour.
